On our most recent trip to Japan we were able to source this super premium matcha through our local contacts in Uji, Kyoto. We are now able to offer it here in the US for our Chalait customers to try on a limited release basis.
It has a deep emerald colour and is complex and sweet in a subtle way. On the nose it is incredibly fragrant witha distinct fresheness and a hint of seaweed. You should expect no bitterness whatsoever when drinking this matcha. The flavor is savory and nutty with a sweet finish. The texture is soft with a velvety mouth feel.
