Hidden at the back of the second floor of a men's clothing boutique it can be easy to miss Paddler's Coffee and that would be a shame. Their aesthetic blends in perfectly with the store in which they're housed and the walls are adorned with brass antiques and old books lending the location a very old world feel. (Part of Chalait's Tokyo Coffee Series)
Their menu was by far the most limited of all the venues we tried but what they do offer they do very well. Paddlers coffee offers only pour overs either hot or cold with a choice of two coffee beans. We opted to try the ice coffee and after a busy day of fighting the crowds around Tokyo's busy Shibuya and Harajuku districts it hit the spot perfectly.
Unfortunately there was no photo taking allowed inside the store so our photos of Paddler's are limited to the outside of the tailor shop.
